Welcome to COVID Comfort.
As someone living with increased risk of serious disease with COVID-19, I found it difficult to emerge from the spring’s quarantine and begin to frequent the places I used to go without a second thought. I know there are lots of people like me – older adults, immunocompromised people, those with underlying health issues – as well as healthy people who have concerns about living with the threat of COVID-19 in our communities.
I began assigning a subjective ‘comfort rating’ to businesses I visited, as well as summarizing the ‘pros’ and ‘cons’ around the precautions they were taking and the behaviour of their staff and customers. I hope that you’ll find these reviews helpful when deciding where you’ll feel safe and comfortable when venturing out.
